Enhancing Outreach & Engagement for a Nonprofit Association

To improve awareness and engagement, I designed a modern website, assisted with a video campaign, and created print materials such as yard signs and door hangers distributed across several East Texas counties. Additionally, I developed a weekly newsletter to keep supporters informed and drive ongoing participation. These efforts led to increased visibility, higher community involvement, and a more consistent communication strategy, strengthening the nonprofit’s mission and outreach.

The Challenge

A nonprofit association in East Texas needed to improve its community outreach, increase engagement, and effectively communicate its mission across multiple counties. The organization faced key challenges, including:

  • An outdated or nonexistent digital presence, making it difficult to connect with supporters.

  • Limited brand awareness within the target communities.

  • A need for multi-channel engagement, including print, video, and digital marketing to reach a broad audience.

 

The Strategy

To address these challenges, I implemented a comprehensive branding and marketing strategy that included:

 

1. Website Design & Digital Presence

  • Designed and developed a modern, user-friendly website that clearly communicated the nonprofit’s mission, events, and resources.

  • Optimized the site for mobile users and SEO, ensuring visibility in search results.

  • Integrated contact forms, event registration, and donation capabilities to streamline user engagement.

2. Video & Print Campaign for Community Awareness

  • Assisted in creating a compelling video campaign to tell the nonprofit’s story and inspire action.

  • Designed print materials, including yard signs and door hangers, to expand visibility across several counties in East Texas.

  • Developed clear, impactful messaging to encourage community involvement and donations.

3. Weekly Newsletter & Ongoing Community Engagement

  • Created a weekly email newsletter to keep supporters informed about upcoming events, success stories, and ways to get involved.

  • Designed the newsletter for high engagement, incorporating visually appealing graphics and strong calls to action.
